Overview
The Utility Aide / Dishwasher works diligently behind the scenes to ensure serving dishes, silverware, pots, utensils, and various kitchen appliances are cleaned and sanitized daily. S/he must know or will be trained in proper cleaning protocols to meet state and local regulations. The right person will be able to positively interact with residents and be a team member who can complete other tasks as needed to support a well-working kitchen and dining room.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash/sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots/pans, and other kitchen tools as required
- Puts away stock; helps to break down boxes and organize supplies
- Cleans the dining room, service line kitchen, and dish room after meals
- Cleans the dish room and kitchen, including floors, walls, equipment
- Assists with closing down the kitchen and dining room
- Assists with meal delivery to residents and guests when needed
- Other tasks as requested by supervisor
Qualifications
- Previous related experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
